free international SMS

Hi all,
I was just wondering if anyone happens to know of any sites which enable you to send free international SMS'? Eg. We have a site out here called smspup where you can view adds and earn points. one point per SMS but unfortunately it's only within australia. And if anyone is about to suggest www.sms.ac (can't remember the exact url), but it's bad news. it allows you to send free SMS' internationally but your phone gets spammed with messages which you actually end up paying for.
fortunately I was warned about it after I'd written a public entry about in on LJ, and I went to a suggested site where people were giving feedback on different net services, and no-one had a good thing to say bout it. Lol
anyway so yep, any free global SMS sites anyone? :)

www.studentfreestuff.com. you can send to anywhere in the world. it takes ages to register

think it stands for short messaging system. it's the fancy name for text messaging on mobile phones.

though I'm an ausie as it looks like it's only UK, US and Canada :(
